Hediger and Meyers Insurance was established in 1921 by George Hediger and Harry Meyers. George and Harry provided insurance services to the Peoria area for over 40 years.
In the mid-sixties, George and Harry sold their agency to their successors, John Voorhees, Dick Vosberg and Victor Sternfield. A number of years later, Victor retired. Dick Vosberg and John Voorhees continued the tradition of insurance service with a personal touch.
John Voorhees retired in 1986 and passed the torch to his younger producers, Bill Voorhees and Mike Strode (present-day owners). In 1990 Dick Vosberg moved into retirement. Bill and Mike became the two principal owners.
Collins Voorhees, Bill's son joined the Hediger and Meyers team in 2016 continuing a family tradition of dedication and outstanding customer service.
Bill and Mike still provide insurance services with a personal touch. Hediger and Meyers' pledge has always been to protect your business, family and your future.
